DTS Sim/Stim Systems Operator, Schriever Space Force Base, Missile Defense Integration & Operations Center, Colorado Springs, CO
AASI is seeking a DTS Sim/Stim Linux Systems Operator to support missile defense training operations for the Warfighter. The successful candidate will support the operation of the Distributed Training System Simulation & Stimulation environment, which interfaces with major missile defense training and command-and-control systems.
Responsibilities include operating and supporting the DTS Sim/Stim environment for Warfighter training events. Duties include configuring, starting, monitoring, and stopping training events in coordination with system operators and mission partners. The selected candidate will support daily activities involving C2BMC, GST, MDST, and other internal or external system elements.
Additionally, the selected candidate will load, configure, and troubleshoot Modeling & Simulation components within the DTS Sim/Stim enclave; maintain accurate event logs, operational records, and performance metrics; and coordinate with teammates, Warfighters, contractors, and government personnel during training events. The successful individual will work closely with a mission-focused team supporting realistic missile defense and space awareness training scenarios.
Requirements:
• Final Secret security clearance required
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Ability to learn and operate a Linux-based system
• Ability to obtain Security+ certification within 60 days of hire
• Associate degree and 2 years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
• Ability to adapt to short-term deadlines and work effectively under pressure
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across multiple organizations
• Ability to communicate technical status, issues, and concepts to contractor and government leadership
• Ability to travel up to 10% for operator training or site visits
• Knowledge of missile defense, space awareness, or Integrated Air and Missile Defense operations preferred
• Familiarity with networks, protocols, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux commands preferred
• Prior experience in missile defense, Modeling & Simulation, command-and-control systems, or technical operations preferred

AASI is seeking a Mid-Level Modeling & Simulation C++ Software Developer to support missile defense and aerospace mission systems. The successful candidate will support the design, development, integration, and maintenance of software used in complex modeling and simulation environments.
Responsibilities include developing and maintaining C++ software applications in support of missile defense simulations, mission analysis, and test environments. The selected candidate will work with technical teams to implement software changes, troubleshoot issues, support integration activities, and assist with testing and verification of simulation software.
Additionally, the selected candidate will support software development in a technical environment where performance, reliability, and attention to detail matter. AASI is seeking a Radar Systems Engineer / Analyst to support missile defense and aerospace mission systems. The successful candidate will support radar system analysis, modeling and simulation activities, test support, and technical assessment of radar performance in support of defense missions.
Responsibilities include analyzing radar system behavior, supporting simulation-based assessments, reviewing technical data, and assisting with evaluation of radar performance in mission-relevant environments. The selected candidate will work with engineering teams to support test planning, data review, technical documentation, and coordination with Government and contractor personnel.
Additionally, the selected candidate will support radar-related analysis in distributed test and simulation environments. The successful individual will work closely with a mission-focused technical team supporting missile defense, air defense, and related national defense programs.

AASI is seeking a Modeling & Simulation Analyst to support missile defense system analysis, test, and mission support activities. The successful candidate will support the use of modeling and simulation tools and environments to assess missile defense system performance and support important national defense missions.
Responsibilities include supporting simulation setup, event preparation, execution, analysis, and documentation. The selected candidate will assist with reviewing simulation results, analyzing system behavior, identifying technical issues, and supporting post-event reporting. The role may involve coordination with Government personnel, contractor teams, analysts, software developers, and system engineers.
